Rose
SHOP MANAGER
Rose joined the Good Vibes team during the spring of 2020. New to the auto industry, she quickly gained newfound respect for the challenges techs tackle day in and day out. Rose enjoys working with the community both at and outside of work. When not behind her desk, Rose can be found (camera in hand and her dog Louie on leash), taking pictures and making connections with the land and people of Laramie.
Nelson
LEAD TECHNICIAN
Not wanting to ever work a desk job, Nelson enjoys the hands-on nature of being a technician. He earned his associates degree in automotive technology in 2010 and has enjoyed working on vehicles ever since. The positive work environment at Good Vibes along with the range of jobs, makes Nelson look forward to coming to work each day. And when not working at the shop, he spends time snowboarding, autocross racing and exploring new places in nature.
Ali
Born & raised in Colorado, Ali came to Laramie to study Mechanical Engineering at the University of Wyoming. After graduation, she found herself drawn to being a service advisor. When she’s not at the garage, you can find her enjoying the great Wyoming outdoors, riding her horses, or spending time with her husband and son. She loves the “adventure” that is working for Good Vibes Garage!
Hunter
Originally from Casper, Hunter is a Wyomingite through and through. They moved to Laramie in 2018 and received a Bachelor’s in Political Science from UW. Although they “fell into” service advising somewhat accidentally, they have a strong belief in taking care of their neighbors and providing transparent and honest service– which is what eventually brought them to us. When Hunter isn’t at Good Vibes, you can find them camping, DM-ing a session of Dungeons & Dragons, or cuddling up with their cat, Acorn.
Troy
Troy grew up moving around a lot, but always found himself coming back to the majestic state of Wyoming. Before becoming a technician, Troy served his country in the Marine Corps, and to this day volunteers for a nonprofit that focuses on education and rehabilitation for veterans. Now, he is a GM-certified master technician who absolutely loves working at Good Vibes. When Troy’s not at the shop, you can find him with his kids, adventuring in his gold claim, or going hunting.
Jacob
A Texas native, Jacob is always excited to “cowboy up” and rise to the various challenges presented to technicians in the shop. He came to Good Vibes because he loves working in a small-town shop environment. He believes this environment allows for fostering community through automotive repairs. When Jacob isn’t at the garage, you can still find him working on cars– he loves everything from refurbishing old vehicles to building model cars.
William
Known around the shop for his sense of humor and quick wit (not to mention his incredible skills when it comes to auto repair), William decided to become a technician because working on cars is fun for him. His positive attitude is one thing that makes working with him so great! When asked why he applied at Good Vibes, he simply replied, “For the good vibes!” When he’s not at the shop, you can find him on the shooting range, racing around his RC cars, or building impressive LEGO structures!
Louis & Yuki
Louis is a hound dog who’s as cool as a cucumber. He’s our Quality Control Expert, and his official duties include inspecting deliveries and making sure the floors in the shop don’t get up and run away by holding them down (and taking the occasional nap). When he’s not at the garage, you can find him anywhere from curling up on a couch to going on adventures with his best friend, Rose. Yuki is a border collie with a heart of gold & so much energy he could probably power all of “Laradise” if we let him! We know him as the executive director of greeting customers & the CEO of playing fetch. He’s compensated for these very important roles in belly scratches and ball throwing. When he’s not at Good Vibes, you can find him enjoying long walks in the city and exploring new places in nature with his best friend, Nelson.
Jeff
OWNER
As the guy who started and owns the business, Good Vibes isn't Jeff's first rodeo. In fact, this vehicle repair shop grew out of Jeff's parent business, TigerTree, a full-service tree maintenance business in Laramie. While setting up shop for maintaining all things mechanical for TigerTree, Jeff realized this could become a stand-alone business, one with a mission to give back and support the community. Enter Good Vibes Garage. When not overseeing one of his three businesses with his wife, Emily, Jeff can be found biking and skiing with his two kids. Or out at the shop smiling with the team.
If I had to rate my experience, I’d give it a 12 out of 10! Please read! I HIGHLY recommend this garage for more than the money I saved:
Greeted kindly and professionally from the start (being a woman, this doesn’t always happen!).
Helped me understand what was going on. (Other garages didn’t even talk about diagnostics.)
Their mission to serve the community on a sliding fee scale is much needed for the Laramie area!
You can tell they love what they’re doing. This tells me management is great!
Seriously cannot say enough about this establishment! Thanks Good Vibes!
